Our current membership, about 50 strong, includes retired professional musicians and music teachers, but the great majority is amateur. No playing member receives an honorarium, and all pay an annual membership fee. Special provision is made for cases of financial difficulty. Our purpose is for members to have fun playing their musical instruments, while increasing their musical knowledge and skills. Performance is secondary though minimum performance standards will be met or exceeded. Rehearsals are to be positive musical and recreational experiences with an emphasis on playing orchestral music for enjoyment.
